Culinary Arts Pathway:
This pathway will initiate students into the art and practical skills of food preparation, as it produces graduates who will readily emerge into the culinary and hospitality field, or choose to go on to further training as chefs or in restaurant management. The facility features a full functional commercial culinary kitchen and dining classroom. This pathway includes a sequence of CTE courses combined  with a rigorous course of study in the core academic areas.  Special events and special projects are a large part of the culinary program and helps the program fill many needs on the campus.  All culinary students as a requirement of the curriculum must participate in extra-curricular events each semester at CAFE Academy: Snack Bars, Gym events, Theater events, Sporting events and many others. This is a major part of the hospitality / culinary arts program, culinary students must commit and signs-up for the as many events as possible! The CAFE Culinary Arts students are expected to show up, participate from start to finish as they agreed too when they signed-up for these events.    Parents or Guardians are encouraged to participate and support all students while helping the RMHS Culinary Arts FCCLA Club & CAFE Academy grow!
